I have published a few free endcheek designs via the MW Forum & I’m always happy to chat through further design possibilities.
As I currently only offer the Powered Frames as 1 or 2 Frame desktop setups or 19″ rack, I wanted to provide some simple designs which could be ordered locally via laser-cutting shops. These allow people to build up bigger & more ergonomic setups.
All cheeks fit using M4 bolts – you want about 6-8mm beyond the thickness of any cheeks. So for standard 3.2mm PCB cheeks, 10mm panhead M4 bolts are used – for personal wood cheeks I’ve used 20mm bolts for 12mm thickness.
