Description
This VCO produces two outputs – a sine wave and a cosine wave which are 90degrees out of phase, at audio or LFO rates.
Audio rate: 20Hz to 20kHz with Fine Tune set to mid point – Fine Tune covers 1 Octave
LFO rate: 0.2Hz to 20Hz – note that the Tune control should be set to a high value until oscillations have built up to full amplitude
The ranges extend beyond those of the panel controls with external CV – max 28kHz
Frequency modulation is switchable between Linear (AC-coupled) or Exponential, with the Exponential mode also including a polarity switch.
Temperature compensated & with accurate tracking over several octaves.
A complimentary Frequency Shifter expansion is now available – the designs being similar to my old SYN2B/SYN2BX pair (pre-2013)
