Knowledge of Bugs - the Shifted Sands (CD)

This is my last album as Knowledge of Bugs released near the end of 2005.

The recordings are very multi-layered - many traces of my device building work today slither through in the form of background atmospheres and sonics, but it is much more a melodic and song based affair than my noisy Weevils may at first suggest. The instrumentation covers both acoustic and electronic - guitars, full drums and contact-mic'd objects, clarinet, trombone and voice all mix with sounds from circuit-bent and homebuilt devices, synths and a variety of effecting and looping software setups.
